1. Overview
This policy covers what MarketEdge collects, why, and how you can control it. We collect only what the app needs to work. No ad tracking, and we don't sell your data.
2. Information we collect
Account info: an identifier from Sign in with Apple or Google, or an email and password if you sign up that way; your email address if you share it.
Your content: topics you follow, app settings, and the analyses you save: the market question, prices, the AI's rationale, and your pick.
Usage data: how many analyses you've run, used only to apply fair-use limits.
Subscription data: your subscription status, from Apple.
3. About your photos
A screenshot or photo you analyze is sent once to our AI provider to generate a result and is not stored on our servers. A downsized copy is cached only on your own device, so a saved analysis still shows its image when you reopen it later. Deleting that analysis deletes the image too.
4. How we use this information
To run the app: generate analyses, show your history, apply your settings, and enforce subscription and fair-use limits. We don't use your data for advertising, and we don't build a profile of you beyond what the app itself shows you.
5. Who we share it with
Your screenshots and market questions go to our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate results. Sign-in and subscription billing are handled by Apple (and Google, if you use that sign-in option) under their own privacy policies. Market prices come from Polymarket's and Kalshi's public data; we don't send either of them anything about you. We don't sell or rent your data to anyone.
6. Data retention
We keep your account and saved analyses until you delete them or delete your account. Deleting your account permanently removes your data from our servers.
7. Your choices
You can clear your analysis history, sign out, or permanently delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting your account removes everything tied to it.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures, like hashing anything sensitive and encrypting data in transit, to protect your information, though no system can be guaranteed 100% secure.
9. Children's privacy
MarketEdge isn't intended for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under that age.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app changes. Continuing to use MarketEdge after an update means you accept the revised policy.
